As Chief Executive Officer, he guides the company’s expansion into energy-integrated data center development, while maintaining a disciplined, execution-driven approach to renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
With a strong background in development strategy and leadership, Mike is experienced in aligning partnerships, capital strategy, and operational priorities to deliver scalable and resilient solutions. He works closely with technical, development, and commercial teams to ensure projects are structured for performance, reliability, and long-term impact.
Mike’s leadership emphasizes thoughtful growth, strong collaboration, and responsible development, positioning Brightshift Renewables to meet the evolving demands of the digital economy while advancing sustainable energy infrastructure.
Vice President of Engineering, Sales & Development
Mina Metry
As Vice President of Engineering, Sales, and Development at Brightshift Renewables, Mina Metry brings nearly 20 years of experience across engineering, energy, and renewable development. He is passionate about advancing sustainability and energy efficiency, partnering with cities, communities, companies, and organizations to deliver practical, high-impact solutions.
With a strong balance of technical expertise and business strategy, Mina has led initiatives spanning utility-scale and greenfield renewable development, commercial and industrial (C&I) projects, land acquisition, and ESG-driven energy solutions. His background includes sustainability strategy, engineering and construction, business development, and sales leadership.
Mina holds multiple degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Architectural Engineering, and Business Administration, providing a solid foundation in project management and leadership. His experience includes energy modeling, AEC integration, climate impact mitigation, carbon footprint reduction, and cross-functional team leadership.
Business Development Director
Dave Schweider
As Director of Business Development at Brightshift Renewables, Dave Schweider leads strategic relationship building and partnership development across the renewable energy, data center, and advanced infrastructure landscape. With a strong background in sales and commercial strategy, he plays a key role in identifying opportunities, aligning stakeholders, and driving sustainable, long-term growth.
Prior to joining Brightshift Renewables, Dave served as a Relationship Manager at a leading brokerage firm specializing in solar, AI, and data center contracts. In this role, he built and managed high-value partnerships, connecting developers, offtakers, and solution providers to deliver tailored, performance-driven outcomes.
Bringing a truly global perspective, Dave has lived and worked extensively across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, giving him a deep appreciation for cultural nuance, adaptability, and international business dynamics. Familiar with multiple languages, he excels at bridging diverse stakeholders and navigating complex negotiations across international markets.
